Chocolate Peanut Caramel Tart

PhotobucketCarla of chocolatemoosey chose a deliciously decadent chocolate pie for this Tuesdays with Dorie edition. I only wish the peanut caramel was more visible as there are some enticing colors and textures in the caramel. Not that the chocolate ganache layer isn’t equally as delectable looking, it just looks very plain in contrast.PhotobucketWith the crust and ganache made the day before, it was short work making the peanut caramel and then assembling the tart. The chocolate peanut caramel tart would be perfect as a dessert for die hard chocolate and peanut lovers. Carla has the recipe on her blog, chocolatemoosey or you can find it on page 355 of Dorie’s book, “Baking From My Home to Yours”.

I agree. Son said, next time more caramel, less chocolate. Smart kid. Your tart looks lovely. I do love a deep decadent chocolate dessert and yours fits the bill.LSU will prob lose. They have been playing some easy teams so far. We usually cheer on the other team just to mess with daughter's head. She also bleeds purple/gold as don SIL.
